The Canadian prairie offers some terrific crepuscular moments. The turned-up brownish-green bowl of the earth spreads the sun's late or early rays out in all directions of the enormous sky. To the west, the mountains lend character, majesty, shadow and force; the Canadian Shield to the north and east: gravity, lakes, movement and mosquitos. The following photos only hint at all that, but I hope the hint will be enough. Here's Alberta and Manitoba.
